Fundraiser for Ukraine!

Hi Everyone,

I don’t usually do this but it has been a strange time in the last few weeks and I feel compelled to do something. My mother lost her father in WW1 when she was just 10 years old. My parents lost everything in WW2. I was lucky because I grew up in Canada and had a wonderful life. But I am very aware of how war can hurt people. Freedom is worth fighting for but it comes at a great cost.

We all want to help the people of Ukraine! But we don’t always know the best way to do so. One sure way is to donate to one of the many organizations that are helping the Ukrainian people both at home and for those that have become refugees. In addition, I am offering to donate 50% of the sale of every painting on my website to the Ukrainian Red Cross or to the charity of your choice when you purchase a painting. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I will be continuing to post new art at my Etsy site. To see all available original paintings please visit my Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/erikadickfineart

If you decide to purchase a larger painting please contact me so we can discuss delivery options.

I’m happy to announce that the winner of the free painting in the Thanks to health care workers contest is Carrie Cupskey. Carrie is a nurse at the Meaford hospital in Meaford, Ontario. Carrie chose Tranquility-below.
